Is the restaurant outside?

Yes, the restaurant is considered open-air, outdoors. We have heaters placed throughout the restaurant. We suggest dressing in layers for chilly nights as there could be a strong ocean breeze on property, especially in the Sunset Room.


What is the corkage policy? 

No outside beverage/liquor is allowed. However, wine is acceptable! We charge $35 per wine bottle and allow two bottles per table. There is a $70 charge for magnum bottles.


Do you allow children?

We allow children under 18 who are accompanied by an adult. All guests seated at the bar must be 21+.O


What is the Difference Between the Cactus Garden Room and Sunset Room?

Our Cactus Garden Room is the dining space closer to entry designed beautifully with live natural plants and cacti along with a glowing fireplace. It also has a full bar. This room feels quieter than the Sunset Room. Our Sunset Room is the dining space towards the front of the building, with balcony seating, a full bar and an ocean view. This room can be on the louder side, with a more noticeable breeze. 


Can I request a specific table?

We cannot guarantee specific table requests, but are happy to note all requests! We certainly try our best to accommodate. 


Do you take walk-ins? 

We do! We are happy to take walk-ins based on availability. 


Can guests book reservations directly with hosts?

We accept reservations through OpenTable or via the phone at 424-320-2384.


How far in advance can do you accept reservations?

Reservations open up 31 days in advance.

What’s the largest party size bookable online?

7 guests.  Please email info@elephantela.com for parties of 8-12 which will be accommodated with a pre-fixe family style menu. Parties 13+ are considered events, please forward requests to events@elephantela.com. 


What is the cancellation policy?

We charge a cancellation fee for cancellations within 48 hours and no-shows.

How may one purchase something on behalf of a guest?

Please email reservation details to info@elephantela.com. A credit card authorization form is required for all purchases. We do not process credit cards over the phone.


Is there parking near the restaurant?

The parking structure across the street is free for the first 90 minutes. Valet is available for a $20. Hours are as follows: Monday - Friday 5pm - Close, Saturday & Sunday 11am - Close.


Do you allow dogs?

We can only allow service dogs with proper documentation.


Do you offer gift cards?

Yes, instructions for purchase is on the shop page of our website.


What are options for vegetarians? 

Vegetarian and vegan options are available and noted on our menus. Your server will be the most knowledgable about dietary offerings.


Is there gluten free pasta?

We do offer gluten free pasta that can be prepared with any of the pasta sauces we serve! However, as we are an Italian restaurant at heart, we cannot guarantee cross contamination.
